If breakfast is the most important meal of your day, then you’ll want to make sure you have plenty of options when you’re visiting us in Sturgeon Bay. There are plenty of options to choose from, but don’t worry! Keep reading for our favorite places for a coffee, a quick bite or a full breakfast.
Breakfast places to grab a quick coffee
If you’re heading north for the day, stop at Door County Coffee. Other than locally roasting some of our favorite coffee blends, they also have homemade bakery items and serve breakfast daily from 7:30-11am. Their menu includes waffles, baked oatmeal, and baked egg scrambles and egg bowls. But our favorite is always their quiche of the day that is paired with a warm jumbo muffin.
We also have three fantastic coffee shops right in Sturgeon Bay. 5&J Coffee House is the perfect place to grab a coffee and some breakfast, and then find a spot in one of their cozy nooks to chat with family or friends. And located right downtown, Kick Coffee Shop is as quaint as can be. You won’t want to miss their quiche wrap (yum!) or their decadent baked oatmeal. Plus, there’s always something special to try on their seasonal drink menu. For a unique coffee experience, head to Lawlss Coffee across the Bay. We can never decide between their Signature Smoked Mocha and their Dark Matter. Unless it’s a hot summer day and then we go with the Caramel Cold Brew.
Places to enjoy a full breakfast in Sturgeon Bay
Get Real Café serves up quality, local food made from scratch and focused on your health and well-being. They have a full breakfast menu, including fresh orange juice that is juiced to order and smoothie options for every taste. Their braided brioche French toast is amazing, and we also love their Grit Breakfast Bowl. But heads up…it’s only available on Saturdays.
You can’t go wrong with taking the entire family to Betsy Ross’. They have something on their menu for everyone, including crepes! And we can’t talk about breakfast without talking about Scaturo’s. From their fresh baked breads and pastries to their full breakfast menu, it’s one of our favorite places to stop for breakfast. Their kringles make the perfect breakfast to grab and go for a group, but don’t forget to ask about their special muffin flavor of the day before you leave!
