March 13, 2020

In these uncertain times, we wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Bay Shore Inn to support you and your travel plans.  As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility.

As it has always been and will continue to be, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority.  We take great pride in providing and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

We have been in contact with Destination Door County, Travel Wisconsin, and the Door County Department of Health and Human Services and have all stated in Door County, the current risk of exposure to COVID-19 remains low.

With that being said, our staff has taken additional measures with daily cleaning of all public areas, additional hand sanitizers located in public areas, and continued use of hospital-grade disinfectants during room cleaning.

Additional things that you can do as a guest to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses include:

  • Frequent hand washing
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

As more information and details emerge in this constantly evolving situation, we will continue to provide updates that may impact your travel to Bay Shore Inn.  In the meantime, our staff is always on hand to answer any questions that you may have and do not hesitate to contact us at 1-800-556-4551.

Sincerely,

Josh Cory-Yaeggi
General Manager
Bay Shore Inn of Door County
